Have a question about your pet's behavior? Unsure of the next steps for you and your pet?
We are here to help you with your pet’s behavior and training needs! Schedule a virtual Zoom consultation with one of our professional trainers to discuss one or two behavior or training questions of your choosing. Please note, these consultations are NOT for emergency situations. If you have a medical or health concern for your pet, please contact a veterinarian. If you are fearful for the safety of a person or pet, please contact Humane Law Enforcement.
What can you expect during your Virtual Trainer Consultation?
- 30-minute Zoom consults ($45) are designed to address one simple question, rather than complex behaviors. These are excellent for quick tips, next steps or referrals and general set-up-for-success information.
- 45-minute Zoom consults ($55) are designed to address either two simple questions or one slightly more complex question. These are not training sessions, but instead are intended to help assess your pet’s behavior and provide management and initial troubleshooting prior to pursuing formal training services. These can be used to discuss next steps or referrals for more complex situations. These consults are recorded for you to review as needed. Your pet does not need to be physically present for these sessions.
For San Diego Humane Society Adopters
All adoptions come with a free one-hour troubleshooting consultation called a Post Adoption Consultation. If you have not yet used this service, please start by filling out this form. All consults are virtual — either over Zoom (can be recorded for later reference) or over the phone. If you have already had your free consultation and need another session with a trainer, please use the Virtual Training Consultations above. Please identify yourself as an SDHS adopter — this will help us track previous communications.
